Aristopet Avicycline C Oral Antibiotic for Ornamental Birds (Respiratory) 50g.

• For the treatment of organisms susceptible to chlortetracycline by drinking water medication or adding to food.
• Susceptible organisms may include: E. coli (Enteritis), Mycoplasma spp. (Chronic Respiratory Disease), Chlamydia psittaci (Psittacosis).
• Enclosed level spoon holds approximately 0.65g (.022oz).
• Administer either in drinking water OR by adding to food.
• Remove all sources of unmedicated water and prepare fresh solutions daily.
• Remove sources of grit and calcium for the duration of treatment.
• Supply medicated water for 5-7 days.
• Psittacosis 45 days in glass, glazed or plastic containers.

Dose:

Parrots: 5.0g/L in water, 1 level spoon per 125ml (4.22 fl oz).
Finch/Pigeon: 2.5g/L, 1 level spoon per 250ml (8.45 fl oz).
All Ornamental Birds: 5.0g/kg in dry food ,1 level spoon per 125g (4.40oz).
All Ornamental Birds: 10.0g/kg in hand rearing food, 2 level spoons per 125g (4.40oz).

Not to be used in food producing birds.
